Discover the story behind this artwork
Bring the discreet elegance of modernist design into your interior with Modular Patterns, a art print of a poster from the 1923 Bauhaus exhibition. With its graphic balance and natural tones, this work embodies both the rigor of Bauhaus and the visual softness of contemporary minimalism.
"Composed of quarter-circle patterns interwoven in a perfect grid, this poster plays on symmetry and variation. The colors — terracotta, deep green, beige, off-white, and ochre — evoke an organic, soothing, warm, and elegant palette."
A classic of the Bauhaus reinterpreted:
"This poster is in the spirit of the 1923 exhibition in Weimar, a founding moment where the Bauhaus school asserts its ambition: to reconcile art and functionality through simple forms and structured compositions. This visual is a perfect example: geometric, modular, accessible — but never banal."
