Discover the story behind this artwork
A period real estate advertisement for the Normandy coast
Discover this vintage poster of the “Les Mielles” subdivision in Tourlaville, a rare advertising piece from the 1920s promoting the sale of seaside plots. Graphically bold, it evokes the urban and seaside ambition of the time, between emerging modernity and Norman charm.
A nighttime scene in Art Deco style
Under a deep blue sky, silhouettes of boats and the luminous line of the coast offer a striking contrast. In the center, the words “35000 m² of beautiful plots” catch the eye, while a small illustration of an ideal pavilion finishes the poster with a touch of real estate dream.
